YALL. Training Camp was AMAZING! I got to meet over 30 new friends, sleep under the stars, eat some delicious foods (and some questionable ones), and prepare for launch in January! Throughout the week, we “traveled” to different regions, acted out race scenarios (like an airline losing our bags), passed our Fitness Hike (woo hoo!), and learned SO much.
Last week I realized I developed a lot of patterns over the past few months of post-grad unemployed life. I run the same path in the neighborhood, watch the same shows on Netflix, and keep to the same schedule. But there is no room for monotony in the Christian life!
“Do not be conformed to the patterns of this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you will be able to discern what is the will of God, what is good, acceptable, and perfect.” Romans 12:2
Last week, I asked the Holy Spirit to meet me in new ways. Every day, God answered! He taught me more about Himself, showed me questions to ask Him, and pruned away things I had been guarding. It definitely wasn’t easy, but I feel like my whole mind was rewired- and I think that is a miracle! The Holy Spirit can totally transform our mind if we allow Him to. Then, God can take us on an adventure! He’s not just concerned with me getting to Heaven later- He wants to give me the most abundant life NOW! My patterns of life are confining. When I fall into the motions (physically and mentally), I stop listening to what new, exciting things He might be calling me to. I stop seeing new parts of Him He might be trying to show me. What fun is that?!?! I left camp feeling so refreshed and energized, excited to see how he is going to continue to transform me in the upcoming months.
Take a look below at some other fun highlights from the week!

Looks like an AMAZING beginning for your journey! Thanks for the reminder that we can be ‘complacent’ in our walk with the Lord if we don’t ask for God’s guidance. Love this! Love you!
